Employer Volunteers at Mock Interview Day 2019

Menlo College Career Services welcomes new partnerships with employers who want to engage and recruit our students and alumni. We are committed to working with you to promote your employment opportunities on our campus.

Methods of Recruiting Students

1. Post an internship or job for free on Handshake. Handshake is Menlo College’s online career platform and is free for employers.

2. Host a free Virtual Employer Spotlight. Employers are invited to host 30-minute Employer Spotlights. Employer Spotlights are a great opportunity to connect directly with a small number of students. Employer Spotlights are free, but you must select a date at least 14 business days in advance.

3. Register for Career Connect Day and Career Fair: We host an annual Career Connect Day and Career Fair each spring that is attended by 250-300 students and young alumni. The morning features employer-led workshops and info sessions; the afternoon is reserved for the fair. *Registration opens the week after Thanksgiving. Email careerservices@menlo.edu to request an invite.*

4. Volunteer for Mock Interview Day: Each fall, more than 150 students prepare for their internship search by doing a mock interview with volunteer employers and alumni. *Email careerservices@menlo.edu to request to participate.*

5. Host a company visit: Students are eager to visit local companies and hear from professionals on-site. This is a sure-fire way to create a positive lasting memory of your company in a student’s mind. *This option is temporarily suspended due to coronavirus restrictions.*

Employers who recruit, post jobs, participate in on-campus recruiting or information sessions at Menlo College must adhere to the:

By submitting information, the employer voluntarily agrees to make it available to students and alumni for their review. Career Services reserves the right to deny any job posting or employer registration, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to: employer misuse of the system, posting inaccurate or misleading information, potential risks to the health and safety of students, or any other practice which is inconsistent with the mission and values of Menlo College.

Career Services acts as a referral service only and is not liable for any damages incurred as a result of such referrals. Our staff reviews complaints by users of our services about job postings, employers or work assignments, as appropriate. By participating in the recruitment at Menlo College, the employer agrees to abide by the terms and conditions discussed above.
